Dear Maintainer, On buster, the gnome On-screen keyboard, that can be triggered from Settings > Universal Access > Typing > Screen Keyboard does not have french layout. This is especially annoying as it prevents entering french accented letters. This bug is solved upstream at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome- shell/issues/997 and solved by https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome- shell/commit/859aef78c4d2472b2545ce9ecc889c00b9893494.
