$(CC) -lpthread $(GTK_LIBS) -rdynamic $(objectfiles) -o gman
That sounds like libraries before object files passed to the linker...
So, we just need to swap the order, to:
$(CC) -rdynamic $(objectfiles) -lpthread $(GTK_LIBS) -o gman
