Package: faubackup Version: 0.5.8 Severity: normal I have faubackup running daily. Every day I get an series of error messages from my cronjob like this: faubackup-scatter: link ..inodes/00000306/00/00/7d/a6, ./..inodes/00000306/00/06/5d/2d: File exists faubackup-scatter: link ..inodes/00000306/00/00/7d/a7, ./..inodes/00000306/00/06/5d/2e: File exists faubackup-scatter: link ..inodes/00000306/00/00/7d/a8, ./..inodes/00000306/00/06/5d/2f: File exists faubackup-scatter: link ..inodes/00000306/00/00/7d/a9, ./..inodes/00000306/00/06/5d/30: File exists faubackup-scatter: link ..inodes/00000306/00/00/7d/b2, ./..inodes/00000306/00/06/5d/22: File exists
There is no information in the documentaion about this error, how serious it is, or what I should do about it. I run faubackup on several top-level directories, including "/var/lib" and "/var/list". Some files have been moved from /var/lib to /var/list, and the broken backups are all in the backup of /var/list, so this might be related. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (25, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_CA, LC_CTYPE=en_CA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_CA) Versions of packages faubackup depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii perl-modules 5.8.8-2 Core Perl modules Versions of packages faubackup recommends: ii openssh-client [rsh-client] 1:4.2p1-5 Secure shell client, an rlogin/rsh ii ssh 1:4.2p1-5 Secure shell client and server (tr -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
