Package: binutils Version: 2.16.1cvs20060117-1 Hi!
PostgreSQL works fine on mips and mipsel in Sarge, but in Sid it just crashes with a Bus error (see build log [1], happens to all versions). Upstream cannot reproduce it. I asked about the issue on debian-mips [2], and Jim Buttafuoco tracked this down to be a binutils regression [3], since the very same code works fine with the Sarge binutils. The bus error crash consistently happens with different compiler versions (3.3, 3.4, 4.0), optimization settings, build options, etc. I just cannot test different binutils versions, since I do not have access to a mips machine.
