I spend 2 hours in debugging problem with monitoring occured when there aren't any connections to rabbitmq server - which is fixed in https://github.com/nagios-plugins-rabbitmq/nagios-plugins-rabbitmq/commit/caabebdf4e1d820c19b7d7fa8e682848f22834e9.
Are there any chances to release current version of package?
