Bug#3251: Any reason to keep a wontfix bug opened for years?

Hello

I also believe that this bug report is useless. As today (January 2019)
it is almost 23 years old!

Upstream is dead and, as far as i know, nobody took over upstream
maintenance.

For this reason i close this bug now.
