https://pysolfc.sourceforge.io/ is currently at version 2.4.0 with many improvements including support for python 3. Please update to the new version. Note that here - https://github.com/shlomif/PySolFC/issues/88 - @hlef who told us they are a debian dev said he is working on that but then told us he became busy.
