Package: wnpp Severity: normal I am no longer interested in maintaining ceres-solver which I re-introduced into Debian in March 2013, so I request an adopter for it. I leave it up to the adopter to either join the Debian science team (if not a member already) or take it outside the team to maintain it individually.
The package is in okay'ish shape. Upstream is not really interested in fixing failing tests on the low-power not-so-mainstream architectures, and there's an issue regarding dependencies on Eigen (#883619, #868355). The package description is: Ceres Solver is an open source C++ library for modeling and solving large, complicated optimization problems. It is a feature rich, mature and performant library which has been used in production at Google since 2010. . Ceres Solver can solve two kinds of problems. - Non-linear Least Squares problems with bounds constraints. - General unconstrained optimization problems. Kind regards, Philipp Huebner
