Package: tilix Version: 1.8.9-1 Severity: normal Dear maintainer,
It seems Tilix somehow fails to execute the /etc/profile.d/vte-2.91.sh script supplied by libvte-2.91-common, which means each new terminal opens in $HOME. This works fine in Gnome Terminal. The Tilix wiki provides some workarounds (e.g., softlinking to /etc/profile.d/vte.sh), but I feel this should be unnecessary, or at least the Tilix package should do it for the user. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_IE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages tilix depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.30.1-2 ii libc6 2.28-4 ii libgcc1 1:8.2.0-14 ii libgtkd-3-0 3.8.5-1 ii libphobos2-ldc-shared82 1:1.12.0-1 ii libvted-3-0 3.8.5-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.7-1 ii tilix-common 1.8.9-1 tilix recommends no packages.
