 Indeed, these would be nice. See the reality.
1) Remote repository support (FTP / SFTP) need cURL _and_ threadar[1]
libraries. However the latter is not packaged.
2) Binary deltas need (a recent) librsync release[2] which is 2.0.2
version at the moment. However only 0.9.7 is packaged for Sid[3]
(highly outdated), have an open security issue[4] for five years(!) -
then it doesn't provide a static library (compiled with
--disable-static) which is needed for dar.
Otherwise everything is fine.
