For whatever reason the sendmsg wrapper cannot be used with unix domain
sockets:
import socket
from eunuchs.sendmsg import sendmsg
from socket import SOL_SOCKET
s = socket.socket(socket.AF_UNIX, socket.SOCK_STREAM)
s.connect("/tmp/asdf")
sendmsg(fd=s.fileno(), data="QUIT\n", flags=0, ancillary=[], host='', port=0)
Note that host= and port= is necessary, but shouldn't.
Upon executing the above code I get:
