Yes, unfortunately the capabilities *have* to be configured as modules. In the long term this means that realtime-lsm will disappear. > > b) it does not tell the user what the real error is The real error is that capabilities are not configured as a module. It doesn't tell the workaround, which is to compile a costumized kernel. > c) "make config" is confusing, it should tell _how_ to configure, not > where. right, it should tell to use a costum kernel, by chance this is also the solution the bug reporter suggested. Finally, the problem definitely comes from realtime-lsm, but there is nothing I can do to really fix it, I just can make it clearer that realtime lsm doesnt work anymore with the Debian kernel. This is not as bad as it seems, as there is a very good replacement for it, we just have to wait until the pam system gets updated, then I will request the removal or realtime-lsm Cheers, Guenter > > Eduard. > > -- > Niemand ist zuf??llig gut, die Tugend mu?? man lernen. > -- Lucius Annaeus Seneca (4-65 n.Chr.) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
