Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.9.10+nmu1 Severity: normal Hi,
As per the title. This is annoying because it overrides the setting in ~/.devscripts.conf. Moreover, it can create conflicts when tarballs from separate projects are named the same. For example, csound publishes the manual in a separate tarball, both on github. Since both tarballs are named the same (v6.X.Y), their names clash, and I ended up importing the program into the manual repo. Please either respect ~/.devscripts.conf, or default to --rename, since that will cause less issues. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages git-buildpackage depends on: ii devscripts 2.18.9 ii git 1:2.19.1-1 ii man-db 2.8.4-3 ii python3 3.6.7-1 ii python3-dateutil 2.7.3-1 ii python3-pkg-resources 40.5.0-1 ii sensible-utils 0.0.12 Versions of packages git-buildpackage recommends: ii cowbuilder 0.87+b1 ii pbuilder 0.230.1 ii pristine-tar 1.45 ii python3-requests 2.20.0-2 ii sbuild 0.77.1-2 Versions of packages git-buildpackage suggests: ii python3-notify2 0.3-3 ii sudo 1.8.26-1 ii unzip 6.0-21 -- no debconf information
