Package: bash-completion Version: 1:2.8-3 Severity: wishlist Hi! Both upstream tar (for months) and Debian's tar (since today) support zstd compression. It's drastically faster than gzip while compressing much better, thus some of us switched to it already. Alas, if bash-completion is enabled, it skips over such tarballs.
Thus, please add support for .tar.zst (note: no 'd'). -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (150, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.120-xxxx-std-ipv6-64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) -- no debconf information
