Version: 5.50-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Installing buster (dual boot) on an Asus UX370UA-C4237RB (AKA "Zenbook Flip" in
commercialese) laptop. All went well, but for
   - one minor booboo (can't command the keyboard backlights via the function
keys,
but Gnome's "Energy" control applet works), and
   - one more serious : my laptop is "seen" by my phone as a headphone :

I have checked that I can indeed use my laptop as a (luxury) loudspeaker for
my phone, but any attempt to use it as a computer fails :
   - file transfer (phone to computer) fails "normally" after timeout ;
   - use a shared connection to Internet fails almost immediately (and stops
the
relevant process on the Android phone).

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I tried assigning a likely class (0x1c010c) in /etc/bluetooth/main.conf, with
no
success.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

No success, same symptoms

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

To "see" my computer as a computer on the phone, and to be able to transfer
file and use
the connection sharing.

HTH,
