2-3 months ago thumbnails/previews were working fine (images had thumbnails, videos had thumbnails, etc.) in Dolphin. Then sometime in the past couple of weeks after the usual upgrade they just...stopped displaying. The Preferences -> General -> Previews list was also empty.
