Hi Mika, This bug is fixed in the version I'm going to upload to the archive shortly.
I've enabled AppIndicator support in pasystray, so to see the icon in Gnome Desktop you can install the gnome-shell-extension-appindicator package, and enable the AppIndicator panel in Gnome Tweak tool. I've also tested the Screen Reader. If you're able to run testing, please try pasystray 0.7.0 when it migrates to testing. -- Regards, Scott Leggett.
