The patch makes hwinfo ftbfs. :( This is probably because of hwinfo's usage of sysfsutils 1.3.0, and 2.0.0 is now present in Debian. SuSE, which is upstream for hwinfo, have not switched to sysfsutsil 2.0.0 yet, and unfortunately I'm not capable of patching it to use 2.0.0.
