Than I can't improve things here. As grep inside nextcloud client source did not give any reference of libsecret, so nextcloud client is not build differently with libsecret being installed or not. The only way I can imagine is that a dependency of libsecret-1-dev fixes the issue for you. But depending on a dev package for a binary package does not make sense at all. hefee
