Hi,
It was noticed that the /etc/default/ipmievd file contains:
#E N A B L E D="false"
... presumably in order to prevent Lintian emitting the "init.d-script-
should- always-start-service" tag.
Whilst you may have good reasons for this, please prefer to use the
prefered mechanism for silencing Lintian — ie. an override — rather
than simply working around the (current) regular expression matching.
This is for many reasons, including allowing folks to easily analyse the
archive for packages that use such a pattern, overrides explicitly
permits comments to justify one's reasons, sheer ugliness, etc. etc.
