Package: debsums Version: 2.0.15 Hello,
with version 3.0pl1-87 the cron package started to deliver a bit different md5sums file, containing things like: 72b5f5fe6cf0cfa3c763c8ecb3d5a766 ./usr/bin/crontab 9fe3e0296afc1e1ed3f3b0b4203a90a9 ./usr/sbin/cron ... c3df5f1fe5cc4d5f5bc836c0d80f81df ./etc/cron.daily/standard ... b16c871ad13d4d7c44d610ef1546c194 ./etc/crontab debsums stumbles over such things and cannot detect ./etc/crontab as a conffile anymore: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# debsums cron | grep etc.crontab /./etc/crontab OK [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# debsums -e cron | grep etc.crontab /etc/crontab OK [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# I'm not sure, if such "artificial extended" pathnames are or should be allowed in md5sums files. If they aren't or you don't feel they should, please feel free to take appropriate actions (i.e. reassign this bug to cron or to the policy people). However, this issue could be fixed by some "path minimization" algorithm, but I don't know, if such a thing does already exist. regards Mario -- <jv> Oh well, config <jv> one actually wonders what force in the universe is holding it <jv> and makes it working <Beeth> chances and accidents :) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
