Dear Gianfranco, as you offered to sponsor someone who is interested in maintaining gambas3, I would like to do it. I recently brought the package in shape to allow a current version to be packaged (https://salsa.debian.org/gambas-team/gambas3/merge_requests/1) and jredrejo integrated my changes. I am also the one responsible for the mentioned upstream commit.
As gambas3 is not in wnpp, I did not ask the current uploaders to adopt the package as that is considered impolite. But I just saw your post and would be glad to take on the responsibility. If you like to sponsor me, please add bage-guest to the Salsa project's members and tell me what would be the next step. Should I upload a build somewhere and you upload it to the package archive?
