Sent a pull request and you merged most of the changes already. Package update is available[1], but not yet uploaded. I'll do it tomorrow, after filing the ITP for the separate fuse3 source. Tested that the library and development packages can be co-installed with the 2.9.7 version of fuse. Builds on amd64 and i386, other architectures not yet checked. Some dependent packages don't use pkg-config but include files directly, those fail building with fuse3 - but otherwise it seems to be API compatible with the 2.x version.
