Hi, I second this.
Right now, I noticed thunderbird keeps sending 5 times more data to the IMAP server than it gets, and it's been a month at least that it hogs the CPU for long times. It I want to debug this here with wireshark, the only other option left is to force using plaintext, which I'd rather not over wifi since I'm not home for a week… François.
