Hi Nicholas,
a quick test in unstable shows that:
* with emacs25 installed but not emacs25-common-non-dfsg, both info(1)
and info-mode from emacs find the org-mode-doc's version of the
manual, as they should.
* with emacs25-common-non-dfsg also installed, info(1) reverts back to
only finding the manual for 8.2.9.

* with emacs-common-non-dfsg from experimental installed, and
emacs25-common-non-dfsg not install, info(1) still unfortunately
finds the manual for 8.2.9.
