Hello Nicholas, The things you've suggested in this most recent e-mail all involve massive changes to emacs-goodies-el, which I don't think can be done without the involvement of its maintainers. It's just too much for an NMU.
Creating new source packages with elpafied versions of addons, and then asking for those to be deleted from emacs-goodies-el, does not have this problem. -- Sean Whitton
