Hi, libreoffice-dictionaries maintainers consider that it is better to maintain hunspell dictionaries separately when possible, see e.g. https://bugs.debian.org/878315 That should make upstream tracking easier and provide a better handling of language related issues (I do not speak Latvian, but Aigars do).
