Hi, Thanks for your feedback. In your case, you already have mplayer or mpv when you installed streamlink, and expected to not have an additional media player (here, vlc) to be installed when installing streamlink ? (As opposed to upgrading streamlink, in which case my aptitude didn't tried to install vlc.) Anyway, I will add mplayer, mpv and omxplayer to recommends.
