Package: sbuild Version: 0.36 Severity: minor In my opinion log_command() is much too verbous. I'm not really interested in any of those message. Could you convert this to a debugging command and only enable it if a special variable is set in /etc/sbuild.conf.
An example is below; I really don't care what commands sbuild runs, as long as it does the right thing. More importantly, it makes it harder to process build logs. Checking available source versions... /bin/sh -c '/usr/bin/apt-cache CHROOT_APT_OPTIONS -q showsrc jack 2>&1 </dev/null' Fetching source files... /bin/sh -c '/usr/bin/apt-get CHROOT_APT_OPTIONS --only-source -q -d source jack=3.1.1+cvs20050801-5 2>&1 </dev/null' Reading package lists...
