Package: distro-info
Version: 0.14
Severity: wishlist

I'd like to be able to ask distro-info questions like:

What is the codename corresponding to release 9.0?

What is the release corresponding to codename buster?

What are the release and codename pairings for all known codenames?

Is it currently possible to ask these sorts of questions?

All the data is present in distro-info-data, and while the format
appears to be pretty simple and relatively easy to extract manually, I
wouldn't want to assume the data format will never change... people
sometimes get very excited about xml or json or whatever. :)
