Hi, The issue really is in borgbackup.
Yes, msgpack renamed its egg name form msgpack-python to python-msgpack, so every package depending on it has to adapt, and change the rquirements if they are checked at runtime. There's nothing much I can do on the side of msgpack, because some other Python dependencies are using the new egg name already, and over time, everyone will switch to the new one.
