Have you tried removing the contents of this directory, instead? The system should be able to safely regenerate everything in that directory, so just removing it should be fine. What filesystem is in use on /var/cache on this system? > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): tdb_free: right free failed at > 139340 > [2006/02/28 09:55:18, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(772) > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): rec_read bad magic 0xd9fee666 > at offset=23252 > [2006/02/28 09:56:36, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(772) > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): tdb_oob len 1111638598 beyond > eof at 155648 > [2006/02/28 09:56:36, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(772) > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): remove_from_freelist: not on > list at off=139340 > [2006/02/28 09:56:36, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(772) > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): tdb_free: right free failed at > 139340 > [2006/02/28 09:56:37, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(772) > tdb(/var/cache/samba/printing/hplj1005.tdb): rec_read bad magic 0xd9fee666 > at offset=23252 -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
