Many thanks for the work! I was planning to do a new release (I'm also the upstream, and I have a couple of pending fixes) and the do the upload fixing the gconf issue. I'm very busy so can't guarantee I'll manage to do it promptly, so if it helps please do an NMU (and I'll wait the migration to testing before doing my upload, in case I manage to release quickly).
