Hi,
I recently started experimenting with a local/custom pre-commit
hook to prevent myself committing things like "FIXME" or unencrypted
files to repositories. :)
This works fine using "git commit" on the command line, but does not
work in git-gui; they are seemingly ignored.
If it helps, these hooks are configured via
$ git config --global core.hooksPath /home/lamby/foo
