Package: qemu-user-static
Version: 1:2.11+dfsg-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
Since updating from 1:2.10.0+dfsg-2 a vmdeboostrap of an arm system
takes about 2h on my machine when it was about <30 min before the update.
If I grab qemu-user-static from 1:2.10.0+dfsg-2 I'm back to the old
speed. Any ideas what might have triggered this?
vmdebootstrap is invoked like
sudo vmdebootstrap \
--enable-dhcp --no-kernel \
--verbose --image $bootimg --log tmp/$bootimg.log --size 3G \
--bootoffset 1M \
--mirror "${mirror}" \
--arch=armhf \
--foreign=/usr/bin/qemu-arm-static \
--configure-apt \
--no-extlinux \
--distribution "buster"
--serial-console-command "/sbin/getty -L ttymxc0 115200 vt100" \
--root-password='root' --hostname='test' --user=test/test --sudo \
--no-update-initramfs \
--owner $(whoami) \
--bootsize 200M \
--boottype ext2
Cheers and thanks for making qemu-user-static available, it's an
incredible useful tool.
