Package: kildclient
Version: 3.2.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Bug 885007 was fixed by adding a dependency on gvfs.

gvfs depends on gvfs-daemons, which depends on udisks2, which depends on
libpam-systemd.

I intentionally run a non-systemd system; the only packages from
src:systemd on my machine are libsystemd0 and udev (and probably
libudev1, et cetera).

The presence of libpam-systemd on an otherwise non-systemd system
introduces behavior changes which I find undesirable. As such, any
dependency on this package is undesirable to me.

As we've discussed in direct mail, the desired functionality can
apparently be achieved by a dependency on desktop-file-utils, rather
than on gvfs.

I have tested with this configuration (and have it installed as I write
this, although I am filing the bug against the version which depends on
gvfs), and the "open URL in default browser" functionality which the
dependency is supposed to provide works as expected.

In the interest of keeping chain dependencies minimal, please replace
the gvfs dependency with a dependency on desktop-file-utils.
