Hello, I looked into palo and it seems it only optionally invokes the e2fsprogs related bits if ran with -e // --format-as option specified.
Personally I'd probably make e2fsprogs a Recommends if I hade to make the decision, but it's kind of splitting hairs here between Recommends and Suggests specially as e2fsprogs will likely always have a high enough Priority set that it'll already be part of basically ever normal installation. Maintainers decision if you want to just close this report or take the opportunity to bump to Recommends "because why not"..... HTH. Regards, Andreas Henriksson PS.
