Can you try to rebuild with this jpeg fix for ppc removed?

As root:
        apt-get build-dep digikam
        apt-get install devscripts

As normal user:

        apt-get source digikam
        cd digikam-0.8.1
        rm debian/patches/10_kdesvn_r507545_fix_jpeg_on_ppc.diff
        debuild
        sudo debi

Does it work again?

If yes, can you double check that no only the debian version
is borked. Rebuild original version without changes

        cd ..
        mv digikam_0.8.1-3*.deb{,.save_me}
        rm -rf digikam-0.8.1
        apt-get source digikam
        cd digikam-0.8.1
        debuild
        sudo debi

Is it again broken?

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
