'dpkg > -L thunderbird | grep disable' shows the directory /etc/apparmor.d/disable > in its output, but that directory contains no files. The update of 52.5.2-1~ checks for a possible re-enabeld AppArmor profile and prevents a disabling of this. This is simply because a user could have re-enabled the profile for personal needs. So if you don't want to use the AppArmor profile for Thunderbird you need to disable this again. Regards Carsten
