Hi Sam and Olivier It looks like the newer kernel version places the device files in a different subdirectory and so the previously saved configuration is now invalid.
All that needs to be done is to remove the current instance of Sensors Applet from the panel and then readd it so it can redetect the new location of the sensor device files.
