Hi, Considering there is no action taken by this part of script, I will simply drop this code.
It was only a minor problem for debsums. As far as policy 10.7.3 for not-touching-user-config is concerned, this code was good. (It was old style coding before dpkg-maintscript) Since this file transition is for very old releases, let me fix this bug simply dropping such code. Osamu
