Strange that the second "restart" in your example didn't do anything... Anyway, the point is that a "restart" leaves wwwoffle in the same state it was. This was done because of bug reports that the nightly restart (for the log rotate and the rotating of the lasttime etc. dirs) resulted in a wwwoffle that was not "online" in the morning, whereas it was before the night. There was already a bug report about this, I wish you would learn to check for existing bugs before opening new ones willy-nilly. This has been going on for years with you :-( > Yikes. Autodial mode.
