I experienced the problem reported here against a 2.6.14-rc4 kernel, with "yaird error: bad value in /boot/config-2.6.16".
As Jurij said, applying his patch makes that error message go away. Moreover once I've done that, I do not get the block error that Jurij got. yaird appears to have finished its job correctly. I've got yaird 0.0.12-3, same as Jurij. I guess this bug can be closed when the patch is applied. Perhaps Jurij can make a separate bug report about the block problem, if it persists.
