First, I do not have that information - and no better ways to gather it
than you have.
Second, it would not be relevant since any FTBFS chance > 0% is a bug.
As you already correctly observe, reducing the number of cores used
for parallel building often only reduces the FTBFS probability to
some value that is still > 0%.
Third, the only proper fix would be to fix the Makefiles.
If you want to invest time in doing something better than completely
disabling parallel building, then that's what should be done.
