Package: xmms-mad
Version: 0.8-1
Severity: normal

hi

I have installed MusePack codecs, and compiled xmms-musepack
(I used the latest Debian/sid packages, and recompiled them in a
 sarge machine)

While I was playing with it , I noted that xmms had problems playing
my freshly created MPC files.

The culprit seems to be the xmms-mad plugin, that considers MPC files
to be "MPEG audio files layer 1" and stubbornly tries to play them
(with funny results).

When I disable the xmms-mad plugin in xmms, it all works OK.
