SpamAssassin version 3.4.1 Linux *** 4.9.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.18-1 (2017-03-30) x86_64 GNU/Linux Hello, Forgive me if i do this wrong, its my first bugreport. The following error came when sa-compile updated: sa-compile: cannot write to /var/lib/spamassassin/compiled/5.024/3.004001 I think this was a permissions fault because "/var/lib/spamassassin/compiled" is owned by root:root. This probably became an issue when I ran sa-compile as root instead of debian-spamd. I restored the permissions and everything worked again. Can this be picked up in sa-compile to restore the permissions when run as root? Thank you Dimitri
