I'd also be grateful if this patch could be backported. In the current situation, resizing of bootable partitions simply is not possible without breaking things. I also tried downgrading to (lib)parted 3.1, but that caused segfaults in fatresize, so that does not seem a feasible workaround either. Gr. Matthijs
