Hi, similar/same(?) issue here: $ lpstat -a lpstat: Dienst nicht verfügbar (translation: lpstat: Service not available)
The remote print server is configured via /etc/cups/client.conf $ cat /etc/cups/client.conf ServerName hostname-of-server/version=1.1 Downgrading to the version in stable makes me see all printers again and able to print.
