udevmonitor and/or enabling events logging in hotplug.rules will help verifying this. If the results are still not useful, then just add to the top of the script something like "touch /dev/some-flag-file" which is a simple way to determine if the script is being run or not. (BTW, please build the package with V=true, using ccdv wastes time and hides potentially useful messages from buildds operators.) -- ciao, Marco
