I just ran into the same/similar issue again, with the "Regarde les hommes tomber - 2015 - Exile" CD that I got. After installing the Debian experimantal 0.92-2+b1 libcdio-dev and libcdio15:amd64 packages, I then rebuilt the Debian testing gvfs packages against that one (no source code changes required).
